Exchanging information about CODIL and related topics

Two people sitting at opposite sides of a table. Each person is using a laptop computer and there is a prominent cable linking the two laptops.

The purpose of this blog is to encourage the change of information of information about CODIL, the underlying theory and its relation to human and artificial intelligence.  It will also be concerned with the history of the CODIL project and the problems of providing support for unconventional "blue sky" ideas, especially when the person who has those ideas is neurodiverse. Constructive criticism is alway welcome - as such criticism is at the heart of all healthy scientific research.

You can help ne to improve this blog in the following ways

  • Any comments on the theory underlying CODIL and its relation to the evolution of intelligence is always welcome, and can't start a "comment" debate
  • I am always interested in comparing CODIL with other research and if you have a paper (or book) you would like me to look at please let me have the reference. Because of paywalls, etc., I may not have access to the relevant document and it could help me if you could email me at chris@codil.co.uk with an electronic copy of the document you want me to comment on.
  • I will be adding copies of other published papers, and other archive material, to this blog, but if there is an issue that is no yet covered in the blog please ask.
If you can help by helping to produce a modern portable version of the CODIL interpreter, or can provide a home for the extensive CODIL archives please contact me directly at chris@codil.co.uk.
